Copy Editing
I will review and edit your work for clarity, style, grammar, word choice, formatting, and mechanics, helping you express your ideas clearly to readers in your own voice.
I have extensive experience using the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual and I am also quite familiar with Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) and the American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style. I am happy to use other style guides and house styles as well.
Proofreading
Send me your near-final draft and I will ensure that it has correct grammar, word choice, mechanics, and formatting. Generally, proofreading is the step to take after your text has been thoroughly edited. If you are not sure whether you need copy editing or proofreading, contact me and we can discuss!

I am happy to edit almost any genre of writing, but I am especially experienced with and interested in academic writing, nonfiction, and personal statements and essays. I enjoy working with ESL writers as well as native speakers.
Pricing
No project is too small! My pricing for copy editing and proofreading depends on the project, but starts at:
- Proofreading: $3/page* ($0.012/word)
- Copy editing: $5/page* ($0.02/word)
*In the editorial industry, one page is defined as 250 words. There is a $10 minimum.
