I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching high school- and university-level writing. I can help you excel at SAT, ACT, GRE, and VCLA verbal preparation; college essays; personal statements; academic writing; and job application materials. I have worked with native English speakers as well as non-native speakers from a wide variety of language backgrounds.

One-on-One & Small Group

I can tutor individuals, which is the fastest way to make progress and get personalized feedback.

Another option is to organize a small group (or “pod”) of learners. This is a more cost-effective option and also allows valuable peer feedback on writing.

Pricing

Price per one hour of tutoring:
– One student: $50
– Two students: $70 ($35 each)
– Three students: $90 ($30 each)
– Four to six students: $25 each

Location

Due to COVID-19, I am conducting most tutoring remotely via videoconferencing. However, if you live near Warrenton, Virginia and would prefer to meet in person, let me know.
